The ECOWAS Court of Justice serves as the judicial organ of ECOWAS, providing a legal framework for interpreting and applying Community Laws and ensuring justice across Member States. This compilation of the basic texts governing the ECOWAS Court encompasses its founding Treaty, Protocols, Rules of Procedure and practice directions, as well as other relevant instruments. Together, they establish the Court’s mandate, jurisdiction and operational guidelines, thereby strengthening the rule of law and fostering regional integration within West Africa.
